1. Who we are

Kanopi is a fitness tracking application created by Archevia BV. If you have questions about this policy or your personal data, contact us at privacy@archevia.be.

2. What data we collect

  • Account data: your email address, used to identify your account.
  • Fitness data you enter: food diary entries, workout logs, goal records, weight entries, and meal plans.
  • Telegram chat ID — only if you choose to link your Telegram account.
  • Payment data: none. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details.

3. How we use your data

We use your data solely to provide Kanopi's features. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising or profiling.

4. Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)

Processing is based on contract performance (to provide the service you signed up for) and legitimate interest (to improve app reliability and performance).

5. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Deleting your account removes all personal data within 30 days.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Receive your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@archevia.be. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (GBA / APD) at gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.

7. Third-party processors

  • Stripe — payment processing, governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
  • Render — hosting infrastructure.

8. Changes to this policy

We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of Kanopi after notification constitutes acceptance.
